I signed a contract with a publisher this week and have a submission date of 31 Dec. The big news is that Ron Coburn agreed yesterday to write the forward. We still need to photograph some guns which I will post on the Savage Fest thread in a little while. David

Congrats! Any idea how many copies will be in the first run?

I'm making a list of people who want a copy.
I don't know yet exactly when it'll be ready. They said it could take up to a year after we submit the manuscript but by all indications it'll be somewhat sooner. I was hoping to have a book signing at CGCA/NRA collector show in May '15 but that doesn't look too likely.
Don't know how many copies they'll print in the first run. A lot hopefully. David

All the books that I sell personally will be inscribed to the buyer and signed by me if the buyer wants it. Some people don't like their books scribbled on. If you buy it somewhere else and run across me I'll sign those too. Hopefully the Publisher will be selling them all over the place. David
