And at my age, I'll take getting lucky whenever it finds it's way to me. This one came to me by way of yet another member here.

I picked up a nice 1920, early rifle AND in .300 Sav. Not very often seen.

Luck comes to those who don't look. Most the time Savage guys luck is from keeping their nose to the ground. "The sniffer" smile GW

BTW: Nice guns LBK

The 1920 isn't "top notch". It has 2 holes drilled and tapped in the front receiver ring, but the rarity of the rifle in that caliber negates that as far as I'm concerned. And tomorrow, I'll start machining up the parts I need to complete the #54.

Nice pair Steve. Congrats.

Nice additions to the Family LBK! Not Luck I'm sure. What is the "early" 1920 designation? And I figured 300's were the more common chambering in 1920's.

Honestly i don't think that K was ever Fired other than factory, still had some cosmoline in bore and receiver and bore looks like it. . I would be afraid of taking it out in the woods eek. My Luck i'd either get blood on it or drop it,
THANKS for the COMPLIMENT MUCH APPRECIATED.

A 358 F? Hmmm How Nice? I Have One with Tags

Interesting, I did not know that the .300's were less common in the 1920. Mine is apart, while I work on making a new mainspring for it.
