I picked up a nice 1920, early rifle AND in .300 Sav. Not very often seen.







AND.I was able to pick up and ALMOST as new condition "F" in 250 Sav. Also, Bought it from one of the members here.

The 1920 isn't "top notch". It has 2 holes drilled and tapped in the front receiver ring, but the rarity of the rifle in that caliber negates that as far as I'm concerned. And tomorrow, I'll start machining up the parts I need to complete the #54.

Honestly i don't think that K was ever Fired other than factory, still had some cosmoline in bore and receiver and bore looks like it. . I would be afraid of taking it out in the woods . My Luck i'd either get blood on it or drop it,

Interesting, I did not know that the .300's were less common in the 1920. Mine is apart, while I work on making a new mainspring for it.
