I have a confession to make. About 2 years ago i saw a savage m99 in 358, it was in excellent shape and had a 4x scope on it. The owner wanted $400 cnd (about 300 US) for it. Unfortunetly i passed it up. Was I a fool for passing it up? Will I ever live this down? comments regarding this would be appreciated as i dont know what a m99 in 358 should go for.

sounds like it was one of those late guns that ain't worth diddlee! That's what you want it to be. If it was a real deal it never would've made it out for your eyes anyway would it? Look how much NT you can buy with 400 now.

<br>It would have probably brought $400US. Canadian prices are a lot lower that in the US. If you are ready to buy, don't worry about what you passed up, get out there and find another!
