She's 87 and just got quad bypass. Surgery started at 6:00 AM. By the time I got here she was in recovery. Will be about two hours before I can see her. Doctor said everything thing went well. She will be out the rest of the day. My Dad always said she was "one tough old bird". She will put the ever ready bunny to shame. Thaks to you all, Joe.

I'm glad to hear the word recovery. You did the right thing going to see her. Treasure your time with her now as the older we all get the more we realize the value of the "here and now." But I'm sure you don't need a schmuck like me telling you that. Tell her we all say hi and wish her well.

By this time you should have seen her. I'm hoping that she's doing well that that you were able to give her a big hug.
Well, I did get to see her. But she was still out. The doctor said she would be out all day, so I didn't get to talk to her. She has a breathing tube in, and once she is breathing on her own it comes out. He said it would be at least noon Friday till she will know I'm there. I have rehab for my knee at 9:30 so I'm gonna do that first. Will keep you posted. Thanks, Joe.
