Sweet looking K. Has It been redone? Really nice. The case colors on the lever are really vivid.

I'm laughing too.I think it's overpriced by $2000,but a nice specimen compared to some of the chit out there.
Posted By: 300Savage Re: A nice "K" 300Sav - 02/07/16
Orginal Blue and Wood, I can believe that, but the case colors being that vivid on a gun that is at least 75 years old is unreal. It must have spent its life in a vacuum filled safe.
Posted By: 99guy Re: A nice "K" 300Sav - 02/07/16
If it's right, that gun could go for crazy money.

In an auction setting, I don't think 5500 with the juice is unreachable...
Posted By: gregintenn Re: A nice "K" 300Sav - 02/07/16
I'm not laughing....I'm drooling. The only thing keeping me from asking you for info is this farm bordering me about to go up for auction. If it isn't worth it today, it will be shortly. That rifle is unreal!

That is about $4500 plus 20%. Not out of line for that condition. The only down for a collector is that it is a .300.

I could look at that one every day... smile

Gotta go get a towel to wipe up the drool on my keyboard. grin

It's been listed for a couple weeks now. Very hard sell for a 300. If was a 250-3000 it wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes, original or refinished.

I'll stick with the one (of 2) that I have. It was unfired till I got my grubby paws on it and now it's killed sh*it.

I'd rather have a grey rat that hasn't been touched than one that's been refinished... welded in holes...bla bla bla who knows what else . just not for me. no thanks

I don't mind having a nicely refinished gun as a placeholder for a nice one, or hunting with a refinished gun. But, yes, a gray rat with character has a lot more appeal than a refinished like new rifle.

But you have to admit, that "K" is a nice 99 refinished or not. cool
