I hav'nt done much with 99's for awhile, but traded into a pre-war 99eg in 250-3000 caliber.Cant post pics yet, but very decent shape. Not cut, no extra holes, tang not cracked, etc.Ser#361xxx.How rare are these? Not sure but might be selling, as I have 5 other 250's .Thanks,Ken
It's actually hard to find an uncheckered 99EG in 250-3000, in my opinion. The 300's show up fairly often, but it seems the 250's are hard to find.
But I doubt they bring a premium over the checkered EG's in 250, despite being harder to find. A good find for a collector.
Serial number would suggest an uncheckered 250-3000 with 22" barrel.
If so, not an easy find IMO.
I'm sure you could find a buyer for such a gun....
Yes ,uncheckered with pistol grip.I have not seen too many.
One sat on GB for $999 for a while. It was still there last I looked.
Got the rifle and posted a couple pics.Came with a Lyman , but is the rear sight correct? Was thinking it might be off a Remington?
REAR SIGHT NOT CORRECT KENNY.
P.S> How Are You, Long Time,,,Wood Pile Looks Great and That Savage also.
I've been fine. Wood pile has been dwindling down, home too much anymore after retiring!Have to get back into the 99 thing!!( and more woodcutting)
