Picked this one up last weekend at local show. I know its been a long time since last post, but still check in. Also seen a nice 1909 and a beat up 1914 (22's). Got the guys contact number if anyone interested. Thought this one was nice.

Don't know why the butt stock appears to have a light spot on it in one of the pics. Its not there. Must have been some glare and the addition of poor photography from yours truly.

It is a 300, and has a 3326XX ser no. Looks like 1930 best I can tell. Thanks fellas

1929, barrel address is approximately 1928 - 1930.

I always thought the CD was THE Savage. A couple of years back there was a post for some CD pics. I drooled most of the day. Would give up a lot for one of those.

My dream savage 99 carbine butt drilled out stock like an F pistol grip. Modern light weight boss barrel takedown, D & T with 18 inch barrel. Big blade front sight in radiolucent white. Fold forward peep with wind age. Accutrigger....300 savage. Dream on.
