I was showing my neighbor the 1899 B I brought home. When he saw it his eyes kind of bugged out and he said that in a room in their building are all the gifts given to presidents that they can't keep. I don't know how far back that goes. But, he said there are many, many engraved and highly embellished guns in that room. Something to dream about I guess. I'm surprised the current administration hasn't sent them to the crusher, Joe.

I don't know about you, but if I were president and someone gifted a 99 to me I would smile and hustle it off to the Oval Office and hang it on the wall. (Write in votes will be appreciated.)

Hell.....a 1895/1899/99 I would take it out to the front lawn like Abe did with the Spencer carbine and put some holes in a target!!
