A friend of mine texted me last week saying he found what turned out to be a pre-war R in 300 Savage. Hopefully it will be there again. 300 Savage. Guy wants $600. No extra anything from what was described to me. Serial is around 1940. Looks pretty decent. Not mint, but pretty decent. The belly wear is less than what shows up in the picture. These are the pics he sent me.

Looks really nice. Hope it is still there for you when you go. A nice pre-war R is on on my list, too.

I have not seen it in person yet. Maybe this coming weekend.

Whole lot of case color on the bottom of that lever. I hope it's there, I think you found a keeper.
