This week on a TV show titled "Midway USA Gun Stories" on the Sportsman channel is devoted to the Savage 99.
Please provide a link to that S 99 program.
Thank you.
The episodes aren't available online, but here's a link to what there is.

Do you think Gomer Pyle(Potterfield)is going to tell us something we don't already know? They should have one of you fellas do a show.
They did an episode on the Browning Auto-5, and their resident white beard "operator" handled it like he was clearing a house. Hope he can refrain from going tactical with the M99.
Recording it so I can skip commercials later on.
Actually wasn't bad. Quoted Bailey Brower, so thinking they got a lot of info from his book and maybe him.
Wish they could have had a demo gun to shoot that didn't have a replacement buttstock. Otherwise good show.
Watched it this morning. Had set the DVR to record.
Glad to see something on the 99. Long over due IMO.
Also glad to see the Mater Stake in action on the screen.
Steve
Missed it. Too tuckered from cutting a cord of firewood yesterday afternoon and totally forgot it.
It should be available with the cable and satellite 'on-demand' services. This is the only way I get to see this channel without paying extortion to Cox Cable for extra equipment
I'd rather just take my 99s out to the range and play than watch on TV......
Still wished I could have seen it. Refuse to pay satellite or cable companies.
It was pretty good. Lots of kudos to Arthur. Can't go very in depth on a 30 min show with commercials.
One guy was wearing out an EG in rapid fire action.
The short of it, the Savage 99 was/is a great hunting rifle.
There was a plug about 99 owners. The guy said something like, "If you find somebody who owns a Savage 99, he usually owns four or more of them"
Jeff,
That last line is so true
