I think it is 1 in 10.

Originally it was 1 to 12 just like the .300 Savage.

It may have changed though. Best to run a tight patch and measure the barrel you have.

Once upon a time someone posted a table of the Savage 99 twist rates. I thought I had saved it but can't find it, of course.
