We haveing a warm spell here, been into the low 50s, was 45 while i was shooting! still alot of snow & ice on the range, so I only shot 50yrds. I have been hand loading, Yes with my hand 310 tools! reloaded 303 180 grain cast, 22HP 60 grain jacketed, and 250 Savage a new one for me! 87 grain hot cores, and speer 87 grain Varmit bullets. used Imr 3031 for all was Very happy, the 250 was a Barrel band that I got off Roy here, Love this rifle! have a Lyman Alaskan stith on the 22Hp, a 2x5 Kales on the 250BB was D&T when I got it! and for the 303 a new rifle to me a 1920H, I put a 291/2 Peep on it, was high and to the left at 1st but got it dialed in in a few shots. I could kill a deer with it at 50 yards, and hope to next season, my last 3 shots were in the bull and 3/4 in. group! I have had very good luck makeing good loads with these hand tools but cant belive how much $$$ they have gone up in price! been fun loading ammo in the house on the cold winter days!

Good show, John! I frittered away my time on Saturday (65ยบ for me) squirrel hunting with my Winchester 52A. The bushytails were awake and playful- got two grays and a fox squirrel. Hope to get out again this Saturday for the season ender if the warm temps hold as promised. Might take the BRNO #2 or the Savage 19-33 this time, or maybe the German kiplauf 5.6x35R, or....

Need to renew my range membership so I can head out. Just had a string of 60's and 70's for temps, would have been perfect.
Weather here was perfect for a range outing over the weekend. Saturday, sat behind a table at a local gun show with my FIL, and Sunday went out squirrel hunting. I didn't have Garrys luck tho.

Went out to our range about 2 weeks ago. The snow was over knee deep in places and I couldn't find the 100 yard line. Just stuck the target in the snow. That worked fine. It was nice, no one else out there to have to coordinate with to go down range, etc. The snow hasn't melted off any yet. I'd go back out but have to finish my new display for the Ogden gun show the first weekend of March. I'm displaying the one piece stock 99 that I got from Jeff with the stock removed so people can see the modifications to the original rifle. I'll post pics from the show. David
