Mother-in-law just gave me her deceased husbands pocket knife. A Tree brand Boker with the number 3348 under the tree emblem on the main blade. Other side says Boker USA. Knife is about 4 inches long with beautiful pale yellow (mother of pearl?) handles.

The main blade is OK, though it has been well used but the secondary blade is broken off. Wondering if it would be worth it to have the blade replaced and if so, who might do it? Also, any information on the knife itself would be appreciated. My wife was close to her father and wants to know everything she can.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Boker is a good brand of knife. There are about 4 brands of Boker. Boker manufactured in Germany; Boker Arbolito, manufactured in South America, Boker Plus, manufactured in Taiwan and China and Magnum by Boker which in manufactured in Taiwan and China. The ones made in Germany and South America are the best knives. I have 2 hunting knives and they are decent knives.
Here is the address for;

Hunter, Thanks for the info. Will contact them. Cranky, Definitely has lots of sentimental value, thus the thought behind getting it fixed. TM
