Another I finished up for a customer last night. Rams horn seems to be a popular choice. Gotta say I like the end result every time I put one together. This one turned out exceptionally pretty. Very translucent around the edges so lots of liner color coming thru. (Sorry for the reflections crappy weather here today) Let me know what ya think...

dale did you oil that horn to get the translucency? nice job cranky72

No, it's naturally translucent like that with a little buff and polish. It doesn't all come out that way, seems to be dependent on the set. The lighter colored horn seems to carry the color thru, while the darker horn doesn't have that tendency.
