I just picked up a mid 70's era (I think) 7-4 with a plain wood handle from a fellow on Ebay...the steel is good and the knife is surprisingly handy for such a light unit.
I gave it a touch up on the steel and soaked the sheath in lanotec and am pleased with it.

I have a 1-7 in the draw next to the bed and unless you are going to stick pigs or have an employer that insists you use LBE then it is too large to be of use.
