I know some of you are familiar with his work. Was a long time master knife maker at Marble's and did a lot of work on restoring older Marble knives when he retired. He has a garage full of the old steel blanks that he made "new" knives from.

His father in law was the knife shop foreman at Marbles before him.

His father in law was my great grandfather, he being my great uncle.

He passed away 4/10 at 88.

Thought some here that enjoyed Marble knives from the 40's - 60's and later would like to know.

The Blue Door is 4 blocks from my house. I've made it home from there a few times...

Allison has been very good to me.
