We've had 24" of snow the past few days mixed with -20 weather that has put a damper on the knife production. I have been able to do a little hand sanding on a pair of Damascus drop point hunters. These are coming out nicely.

A buddy drew this one out and I ground it, lots of curve to the handle but it feels good.

Now... Back to the shovel.

Purple Haze Kirinite and double twist Damascus .... Not bad.

Getting closer a little touch up and finish the leather.
Wow!

Do you forge your own Damascus?
Not yet...this was a billet from a stack that a local guy had. I purchased the stack of steel from him, he made knives for a while and got out of it. I'm hoping he still has the maker's contact information, he told me the steel maker is out of Montana.

I finished the knife up last night.
