anyone regular use these bullets in say a 243 with success on deer and antelope...

making a good accurate load currently for a 243, and wondering how reliable they are for deer sized game...

it is definitely an accurate bullet with the right load...
The 85g Speer BTSP is tougher and higher BC.

I killed antelope with both the 87g Hornady and the 85g Speer SpBT, doesn't take much. On deer, the 95g Partition is still a bullet to be reckoned with along with the 100g Hornady BTSp.

R#17 may rule the day with bullets of this weight.

Good luck!
I have a 244 AI that has taken hundreds of deer with the hornady 87 spire point. The 1-12 twist doesnt allow for heavier bullets.
I use the Hornady 87 gr BTHP in my 6mm and it is deadly on Whitetail

It is a very good bullet. I used it for years in both .243's and a .240 Weatherby.
