The late rut hunt (mid December) will run $3,500 ea + Tax.

Too bad the application deadline is passed. Otherwise, might of been a good way to pick-up a relatively inexpensive guided hunt.
Its private land, the license would be OTC.

I see. The original post mentioned that state licensing wasn't included, so I presumed they were permit hunts. So in essence, you're saying that a hunter needs state hunting license and the ranch then provides the specific harvest permit. How many hunters in camp during the November hunt?
Is a 6 pack and a bottle of Jack resonable?

In NM you can hunt private ground with a private land only license for deer with written permission. You could buy your tag at WalMart and go get after it. You just can't be on state or BLM ground, you have to hunt the landowners deeded acres. This applies to any unit except units 2A, 2B, 2C, 4 and 5A.

That's simple enough. I'd never hunted private ground in New Mexico, as I've yet never really needed to. In fact, I've never even been on a guided trip of any kind, as I've always done things myself. But, was looking at what was being offered and thought maybe it might be something a little different from what I've been doing the past forty years.
Is a 6 pack and a bottle of Jack reasonable?

All damn most:)

Just curious- why, at this late date, would you be soliciting more hunters, or discounting your hunts?

Do you know why units 2A, 2B, 2C, 4 and 5A are handled differently?
B/c they all surround the Jicarilla Apache reservation and its where the mondo bucks are at.

Do you typically book so many clients that you have a difficult time getting back to the other potential ones?
