I used to default to "Betsy" and seeing one in the bean field during thanksgiving last year, I took out the ole 222 rem and went outside, followed by the grandson.

He asked what I was going to do, and I told him I was going to shoot Betsy in the head.

"MOM! GRANDPA JEFF IS GOING TO SHOOT BETSY IN THE HEAD!"

and bye bye went Betsy....

Sounds like Betsy works just fine too.....

Bald headed freezer fillers, since I finally got around to killing them in the 80s. Or feral vealers, if they're little ones.

Grilled some steaks from last year's victim a month or so back. She asked if the steaks were so tender because of the marinade.

Said nope, they're tender because it was an 80 lb baldy.

We get some big ones with great big heads in the cedar swamps particularly of northern Michigan (and the upper penninsula). We call those.............
