That's a hell of a buck!

First mountain hunt out west! Any guess on score, didn't measure before he left for the taxidermist. He isn't huge but he had the look that an eastern kid thinks of growing up when dreaming of a western hunt. He is 27" wide if that helps to guage...

Nice buck 170 came to my mind also, will lose a few inches for symmetry.

Here's my 2014 DIY, Public Land, General tag Idaho buck. He's no giant but looked pretty good to me on the last day of the season about 1pm (he almost made it!). Saw lots of deer but bucks were very scarce. More hunters than deer.

killed him oct 29th 2014 with my tenpoint crossbow. 8pt 190lbs field dressed.
