165 SGK.
Haven't had a problem yet on deer and coyote from 75 to 400 yards.
58 gr of H4350, Wby MkV 30-06.
I used them in my .308 for years, Federal Match Brass, CCI 250, 45.5 gr. BLC-2. Gave me about 2700 and killed deer very dead. Extremely accurate as well. I moved on to the 165 partition and RL15, for a reason I can't remember. Good bullet at .308 speeds.
This is my hunting bullet of choice in my .30-06. I load it with 49 grains of IMR 4064. It is pretty tough on the whitetails.
I've killed a half dozen whitetails with that bullet and closer to a dozen with the hollow point version of that bullet in the .308 Winchester with perfect results. Last year I recovered the jacket from the hollow point version in a 100 lb. whitetail doe just under the hide. The core left a 1 1/2" exit hole. The innards were paste and the deer did the typical forty yard sprint and crash.
FIL killed lots of Eastern Sierra mule deer with a $3 Arisaka rebarreled in 300 Savage with those Sierras.
My 308 likes 165 grn HPBT Game Kings, cant seem to fine any SPBT. Never killed anything with em but if they kill like they shoot it will be plenty good
Shoot great in my .308 VS,hammers Texas whitetails and pronghorns.
