Sure. You have to make like you're buying a tag. So, go through the whole application process. When done scroll to the bottom, and click on the Habitat button. Then scroll down the bottom again, and you'll see your codes for what you applied for.

Your application codes will be in the 400's. Like 491 for a resident.

If you drew the tag you'll have another code in the 500's. Like 591 for a resident. Make sure it's for 2015.

It worked! Looks like I'll be hunting a buck this fall.

Bear is up too. Fall is shaping up.

I screwed up, and didn't get my bear app in. I can still get an OTC tag for rifle seasons in Oct, but the draw tag is the whole month of Sept. A good way to spend Sept in the Rockies.

What does it mean if you went from a 480 number to a 490 number, anyone know?

It appears that there is no new number. My number is still 490 resident deer app...... so I guess no go for deer. Am I right?

Another question, does that only apply for your first choice or all choices?

You'll have a 5xx number if you got any of your choices. You won't know which choice until it shows on the front door.

Drew a buck tag...will have to wait to see if 1st or 2nd choice.

Same with me. I got the buck tag, but I made a couple of changes for season, and they don't always go through.

Here is step by step and what to look for.\

To check your draw results.

Go to the CPW web site and go to "Buy and Apply". Then buy "On line". Fill out the questions like you are going to buy a tag. When all your info comes up, select "Big Game and Turkey Licenses and Applications".

Next Page is a "Submit" button.

Then a page comes up that shows all the big game tags, go down right below it and select the "Buy Habitat Stamp and other licenses". A page will come up showing all you applied for and all that you received tags for. I think it says "Products you have on file". Example, there will be a 4XX code that says deer app and then 5XX code that says deer. If you see a 5XX code, you drew that tag.
