I saw that Dick's has some NIB Savage 212 bolt action 12 gauge fully rifled shotguns for sale at $350. Not my cup of tea, but it might fall into the sweet spot for somebody out there at the cyber-campfire.

Fugg Dick's. They wouldn't support gun owners after Sandy Hook and screwed over a lot of people who had Evil Black Rifles ordered by cancelling the order. Then they pulled the rifles from Dicks stores and sold them (at panic buying prices) through their spinoff store Field and Stream.

Since I don't own any stock in Dick's, or at least I don't own any that I'm aware of, I only put this out here for the good of the whole.

IMO, the good of the whole doesn't include buying gun stuff from a company that stabbed gun owners in the back.

Their actions don't get a whole lot of play on this website so it's sort of a personal crusade with me to keep getting the word out when someone posts a 'deal' at Dicks. Nothing personal aimed at you.

As long as a seller, retail or wholesale, hasn't screwed me over on some deal, I'll almost always buy on price if the lower price is significantly lower.

I bought four French mil-surp gore-tex jackets awhile back for around $40 per unit, so that I'd have decent jackets to leave in a variety of places that I cache kit. Apparently, buying them from Cheaper Than Dirt offended a few people, some of whom got pretty worked up.
