This was staring her in the face.

A pair of twins near our driveway lately...the boys and I saw them when they couldn't have been more than a few hours old. Cute, for sure.
Seeing fawns all over the place around here. A couple bucks sprouting horns too. There's a doe with twins that I regularly see sharing a pasture with a couple great big Belgium draft horses down the road. I went by the other day and one of the fawns was trying desperately to get the big horses to play with her as they looked on in total disinterest.
We've seen a few bucks also, with a couple being of whopper potential well into 4x4 development. Still a couple months left to add some substantial growth. Body condition was not the best though with a fair amount of hip showing. Pretty much drought conditions here in SE Oregon with the prominent forages already curing out. I'll dig out an image and put it up tomorrow. It was taken as some distance with a ton of heat waves and not really of publication quality.

I sure like the composition! Leads your eye up and to the left, then back over to the right where the eyes are.

As always, Cookie's pictures are amazingly sharp with great contrast -- the lens quality shows!

Had a similar experience a few years ago. This little guy was so new that he was still wet.

Great capture!

My dad just about stepped on this one yesterday.

Too cool!
Look at those big ears already. Too cute.

Been watching a 10 point grow around the house the last month or so. Nice to watch.
Yesterday I turned off the highway into my driveway and there was a dead fawn laying in the ditch. Sad to see.
She's been here for a few year's now.We just about hand feed her apple's and her favorite..white bread,hot dog and hamburger bun's.Three day's ago she brought up this year's twin's. [img:center][Linked Image][/img] [img:center][Linked Image][/img]
That is awesome!!!
Had to help one out of my Dad's pool the other morning. Little guy could make it to the steps, but coudn't get traction to get out.
