made a trip to cabelas yesterday,danged if my new girl didnt decide she needs to go hunting with me this year,bought herself a new crossbow for the upcoming season.
I was showing her some game cam footage from last year,and was planning on putting out the cams again this weekend,guess I must have caught her the fever.
half hour of practice ,she was putting them in the bull at 40 yards.
the new crossbows are fast, 370 fps with a 400 gr bolt, still faster at 50 yards than my compound is at 10 yds.
it damn near shoots through my targets at that range,too.

If she bought herself a new crossbow, you've got a keeper. I don't know how much $ I've spent trying to get my wife interested in hunting with limited success. I think she likes pretty guns a lot more than shooting stuff with them. Maybe one day she will come around.

Well it's about time you got her out there Fluffy. Somebody's got to start filling your tags.......
