Wyoming bucks - 10/15/16
I've enjoyed hunting Wyoming about every other year for 15 years or more. Just returned from another terrific hunt. Freezer is full, and I think those muley antlers are going on the wall over my desk.
4x5 mule deer at about 140 yards:
"Average" size antelope at about 245 yards:
Rifle was a Rem 700 CDL in .30-06 with an old 2-7x Redfield. Zeroed at 200 yards with handloaded 165 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip bullets. Same load I used on my bear in September. Simple, and it seems to be working just fine. I still have a late-season antlerless elk tag for Washington. Figure on using the same rifle & load.
This guy wasn't shy at all!
Regards, Guy
