I shot this young piebald buck over the weekend. Been getting pictures of him since last year, but only at night. As typical, he had a big overbite.

He came out in plenty of shooting light and looked like a full moon coming through the pines.

dink-a-thon.

Post it and tell Vic-in-Va to get bent...

(Neat deer. Are you going to save the hide?)

Where is the dink link? Yeah, I skinned him out to get the hide done. Hated to just toss it.

This is one we have on the trail cams pretty regular.

It's a sure dink-a-thon winner. Little nubbie. My 11 year old is excited about it.

That hide will look slick as heck tanned. Congrats

That's cool. And best removed from the gene pool.

Enjoyed seeing that. Yep tanning the hide will be great

Much better than when I was a lad and used to get my hide tanned

Cool deer. I don't know how superstitious you are, but Indian legend says killing a Pie Bald is bad Mo-JO. eek

I had this one hanging around my house for a couple of years. During a period when we had snow cover, she got hit by a car.

This one was on my camera quite a bit last year but nobody's seen it since last August.

One of my hunting buddies is superstitious to the point of psychosis about shooting albinos & piebalds. He's convinced killing one means imminent doom for the offender.

I had a 6pt piebald in front of me for 20 mins at 18 yars, about 4 years ago, had shot a 4pt the week before so I only had a tag for 4pts or better a side, so couldnt shoot him. I did draw my Bow about 10 times on him tho! know one ever saw him again! Dont know what become of him.

If have about a 60# spike on our family spot......I think I might take it for the hide.

Unfortunately our neighboring landowners shoot what walks
