I finally managed to get out for a hunt this week after an absolutely miserable summer. I saw a lot of animals and eventually chose to shoot a nice 14 point Red Stag, the best I've seen in the wild or shot to date.

Here's the film - enjoy!

Fantastic!
Blimey, mate, but it sure looks like someone has been using that very rock for a bit of target practice what with all the bullet holes in it. I reckon your deer shouldnt have laid on the target. Wish i could get mine to do that. wink
Does one get kilt on that rock fairly often?

Beautiful photography. What was the camera, caliber, rifle and range please?

Camera is a Panasonic Lumix FZ100, rifle is a Sako 85 Finnlight in .260rem, range was 290 metres.
Very cool, man! Nice video.
It looks like you have to be good at estimating wind drift and elevation due to steep shot angles to hunt there!
Nice buck! Rugged terrain for sure.
