Just found this old video of 4 bucks during lunch break. Somewhere I have a pic of 2 nice 8 pointers. This is at the intersection of 95 and 198 in Burtonsville MD, Joe.

I'm getting an error message that says too may redirects. Sorry if it doesn't come up, Joe.

I've killed some of my best deer at work.

I've killed a lot of work while deer hunting.

What you fail to mention, Joe, is that down here in suburban Maryland such scenes are very commonplace. The deer aren't as thick as rabbits, they're thicker, literally. I see herds like that on nearly a daily basis, but when living within "the madding crowds" there isn't much that can be done about it. Bows and crossbows are instruments chosen by a lot of guys, but then there's the specter of deer running and dying in the backyard of a household of anti-hunters/anti-gunners (of which there are more than enough) and public sentiment then takes another turn for the worse. One guy a half-mile away took matters in his own hand and drilled one in his backyard with a deer rifle, reasoning that "one shot isn't enough for people to dial 911". Wrong. The cops were there before he finished gutting it, and subsequently the newspapers lit up with more people calling for an outright ban on hunting.

I like it here, or I would move. I'm content with driving 1½ hours whenever I want in order to hunt- but the deer aren't out there, they're here, so it's a Hobson's Choice in a way.
