I've been shooting 405 gr. and 500 gr. hard casts out of a Gibbs Summit for over a year. I got my '95 CB in Thursday and decided to switch bullet weight for a more recreational load. I've dropped to a Lee 325 gr. RNFP over 50 gr. of 7383 lit w/ a LMR primer.
I'm just getting tired of beating myself up and comming home from the range with a sore shoulder. I reckon I woke up and decided I'd rather have fun than try to prove something to myself. Besides, I bought my '95 to have fun!

Jim-I don't blame you.I have some Hunting loads that are loaded up for Hunting, but for play I shoot the more inexpensive ones with less powder and kick.Of course I play with the boy's scoped .22 more than anything. The good ole Brick. What would we do without it.Less than 10 bucks and lot's of shot's and practice. That nasty 405 Remmington isn't even that cheap?

Best of luck.Jayco.

Jayco anit that the truth I think if everyone had 22 and brick of ammo to plink with this old world would be a lot nicer place. I think it's the best theropy you can get for less than ten bucks. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
