Have a pristine 1894 Cow Boy Competition in 38 special I just do not need. Is this rifle worth in the $1200 range?

I just checked the completed auctions on Gunbroker, and none that were used, but not in pristine condition went for that. The ones with any marks on them were $750-ish. The one that looked new with no dings had no reserve and started at $1,039 and got no bids.

Tough call to get $1200, but I thought it would bring more than $750. I would say with no scuffs, dings, etc, maybe $900-$1000. Could always list it on Gunbroker with a reserve and see what happens.

Good luck with the sale.

overwhelmingly folks on gunbroker get no bids as they think their rifle is worth more than it is

You have to have a buyer that willing to spend the cash .Then you have to have a price that will sell it for you . What would u pay for the gun if u were buying it then go from there
