Made the deal today, will pick it up Saturday. Stocks are a little rough but blueing looks good.
Plan using it for hunting/plinking. Hope it shoots within minute of squirrel noggin @ 40 yards. I've been looking for a Mountie for a while, was just about ready to give up and stopped at a local gun shop and found this Century edition. The guy who sold it to shop owner was walking out the door when I was walking in( I got lucky). I hope the century handles & shoots as well a Mountie. It should be a hoot to shoot!

Nice pics on your Mounties tikkanut, the background view is awesome too.
The purchase of my CL has not quenched my desire to acquire a Mountie,
so the hunt is still on. But I will need to increase my mad money account for the next acquisition on of quality firearm. I probably will take you up on a few pointers on polishing the stocks.

polishing..........innards........not stocks....

smooths 'em out.....makes 'em nice & slick......
