Hi, I was cruising the pawn shops today and noticed what looked like a Marlin 336 except that the trigger was attached to the finger lever and instead of having a push button safety, it had a small lever on the left side of the receiver. It also had a pistol grip stock with grip cap and a full length magazine. I didn't get to handle the gun because it was so crowded I couldn't get anyone to wait on me. Does anyone have an idea what that rifle is and if it is worth the 124.95 asking price? Thanks for the help, Rojelio

It sounds like a Mossberg 472. I've never actually shot one, but I checked the traders guide just now, and the price you saw is pretty much what's in the book. I'm not sure how durable they are. Another consideration is how it would hold its value should you wish to trade it for something else.
