So I picked up a nice Glenfield 30-30 a few days ago but the rear sight leaf is broke. Are they the same as a Marlin 336?? Any good places to find one??

The 336 rear sight should fit the same 3/8 dovetail. FWIW, here are the Marlin parts that you will need:

Rear sight, Marlin part # F406610 ($15.99 at Brownells)
Rear sight Elevator, Marlin part # F406460 ($5.61 at Brownells)

You can also check with Midway, as they generally carry Marlin parts as well.

Glenfield came with a sheet metal sight. The regular marlin sight will be an upgrade, but a nice one, that may also require a taler front sight. Jack
