A friend wants to put a shotgun scope on a 45-70. The eye relief of his scope is around 6". Who makes a mount for this?? Non-gunsmithing perferred as hunting season is approaching.

One of the Scout Rifle Weaver rails that is an extended variety, wouldn't that work? If it would, there are plenty of them available if you look around Brownell's.
