what is a good cast bullet mold for the win .405 in the new made win? and anybody have any luck using copper jacketed or lead .41 magnum bullets?

Lyman makes a good mold for a 300 gr cast bullet in the 405. Mine casts them 292 gr from wheel weights. Mold is pricey, but high quality.

I use Sierra 210 gr SJHP (semi jacketed hollow points) with 25 gr of AA5744 as a "grouse load" in my Ruger #1. Fun to shoot for the ladies in the house as well. Don't know about feed issues with the model 95, but the lead bullet has a pretty nice round nose to it. The pistol bullets will be short enough to feed well anyway, I think.

Best wishes, and good shooting.
+1 on the lyman mold, Buffalo Arms also has a good .413 mold, and the RCBS .416 sized down to .413 works well.

I've not had anything to brag about with the 41 mag pistol bullets.
It was at your suggestion that I bought the Lyman mould, sir. Good advice, for sure. wink
NEI makes a fine one 395 gr. Works great in my 400 Whelen, 40-82 (modern) and 400 H&H. It's the top one and they will make it in whatever diameter you slug to.
