Peter really has a huge collection of lever guns and his favorite big bore lever is the 1895 .405.
I was part of the sight-in team back when he first came over to pick up the rifle and hunt at Hondo. It is very accurate and with the scope some groups were one ragged hole. We also shot go-bang blocks and that was fun.
That trip, he took a nice elk and a big bison with it. He has taken a lot of hogs and chital with back in Australia.

He will here in a couple of weeks to take a trophy whitetail and then back again next year with another Aussie .405 shooter to take some more big stuff.

The road goes on forever and the party never ends.
