A Miruku1886 extra lightweight extra fancy (the one with all the engraving) 45-70 that is new in the box in unfired condition for $1,400 out the door? I don't really want the fancy grade, but a plain one seems to run at least $1200 on gunbroker.
Yes. I have a Browning 71 (.348) high grade that I use as if it was a regular grade. OR, you could look at the two Browning 1886 45-70s on Gunbroker right now, they're both regular grade and one is $1350 and the other $1400. One comes with 4 boxes of ammo if I remember correctly. I prefer the Brownings to the new Winchesters (no safety). Good luck.
I will probably go get it before too long. But my wife tells me that I may be buying a new house soon, so maybe not.
gonna hunt it/shoot it ?
or just fondle it........?
sounds too purty to shoot........
I want to shoot it, but is is too purty. But a plain one is just expensive.
I looked at an extra light for some time, finally someone bought it. It was used, plain, and over $1100. I couldn't really justify it, my Guide gun will kill anything I want to point it at, so the extra potential wasn't needed.
But they sure are a pretty rifle. The 1886 EL, M71, and M64 are perfection in style in my eyes.

I was watching those too. I just bought the $1400 one that Turnbull cut to 19". somebody else bought the one with the ammo a couple days ago.

lots of Marlins out there.......26" CB ??
$750-$900.....or LTD's for $1200-$1400
Yeah, but why would I want an inferior firearm with a weaker action?
CT Marlins are far from inferior........
Just get out the plastic you won't regret it..I haven't.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm going to run by and pick it up one day when I have a little change in my pocket.
