Anyone know which years of these guns came factory with sling swivel(s)....was they all the same type and placement? Thanks for any info or link where I can find information...

Not 100% certain but I don't believe they ever came with factory swivels. FWIW, I've owed many over the years including most variants spanning all the way to the pre 39s.

Was curious as most I find have them. Most seem to be of the same type; however, not necessarily located the same.

If you are in the market I would highly suggest looking for one wo/CBS. Unless you want a TDS since those are 1988-94 production.

Second variation of Mountie with larger forearm had factory swivels as did fourth variation of the 39A (1957).

Swivel stud on the barrel band, ok, but also on the butt stock?

I have a 39A Golden Mountie manufactured in 1974 with factory mounted sling swivels.
