Is $675 more than you would want to pay for one like I described?

no, I have two 9422's, the standard 22 lr is the 16-inch Trapper and the other is the 22 magnum.

$675 is a good price. Most start around $850

Glad I won mine in a raffle!

I saw a 9422 magnum about a week ago for $1199.00, about 85% condition. Im sure someone will buy it.

I bought it for a bit less than the $675 asking price; not a scratch on it. I am pleased; cool little rifle.

I have a 9422 XTR, 99% condition, .22 Mag. Maybe I need to think about selling it!

When production stopped they took a big jump and $1k was pretty common. It appears that folks have since figured out that they made around a million of them and prices have dropped. $650-750 is what I would call the market for a 95% rifle out of the box.

I just bought a 17HMR 94 for $800.00 no box, but not a scratch on it. I also have the engraved one with the raccoon and coon dog on it...I think wifey paid $450 for it back when it was new. I knew I married her for something.
