In the next couple days I'm making a call to Chris Mast to check on how he did in the area of Maine he was going to.

Called him and it was good. How far are you from Weston, Maine?

Other side of the state. But Weston is a good area have hunted around there in the past.

Love hunting woodcock. Spent youth in WI chasing woodcock and ruffed grouse in Fall with a springer and fishing for brookies.

Never hunted them but have killed a few while hunting quail. Too few here to hunt them on their own, as is quail now. I did not care for the meat although my Dad liked them. miles
