This box is custom made for Sharps rifles. It will hold 2 rifles completely motionless in leather padded rests. There are provisions made for 2 cleaning rods in the top of the rifle locks. There is a compartment under the barrel for accoutrements and ammo.

The construction of the box is excellent with detail to every aspect of the build. The corners are dovetailed, the top has a lip all the way around making a tight and solid closing lid. It is 54 inches long by 8 1/2 inches wide and 11 1/2 inches deep. It will accommodate two full sized Sharps rifles of 53 inches overall length.

Still there...

wish it would take Rifles with MVA 28 in scopes. That would look nice at the club shoots that I never enter. Some day though I will get better and then................
