I am thinking about putting a scope on one of my Sharps rifles for hunting. I am looking at the MVA Winchester B Series 4X scope wit the No. 1 mounts. This will be strictly for hunting. For the reticle I was thinking about the 7 Mil Dot. Anybody use one of these scopes?

I have one of the 5x versions with the No. 2 mounts and the standard crosswire reticle. I think is a great hunting scope. No complaints at all.
pace, just an opinion here,.... for what it's worth, the #2 mounts would be the better choice on a hunting rifle.

Picked this Pedersoli up to try the scope on. I can't bring myself to put extra holes in a Shiloh ifI don't like it. 30 inch 1/2 octagon barrel
