Anybody familiar with, or better yet, used these batteries sold by Battery Systems? Anybody know who makes them? My nine year old Diehard Gold has died. I would like to get another Johnson Controls made battery but I can't find one configured 34/78 dual terminal. Centennial shows they have one but I'd like to know a little bit about them before taking the time to look at them. Thanks for any help.

Do you need a dual terminal? They don't put them on for free.

It's a convenience factor not a necessity. It's in a vehicle that sits a lot so I end up hooking a charger up to it frequently. I find the top posts much handier to connect to than the side posts.

I can agree with that. Side terminals are a pain for jumper cables, etc.

According to what I found, Centennial Batteries are made by Trojan Battery Co, found in the link here. http://www.scoop0901.net/AWAKE/FAQ/Battery/batbrand.htm

Scroll down to Trojan and it will show Centennial as one of their "distributors" but I couldn't find Centennial listed on their site. Most batteries I have dealt with were made by Johnson Controls and they are some of the best.
