Hey fellas,

I just bought a new F350 Crew Cab (bench seat in front, so no center console) that came with carpet floor mats. It's been 10+ years since I've had to buy all-weather rubber mats so I thought I'd check in here to see if one brand/model has any advantage over the others.

The truck is a tow vehicle for a horse trailer. Given the typical conditions here, there will be a lot of mud on the ground most of the time I'm hauling, so I need mats that will contain water/mud.

In looking at some of the pics online, I like the look of Husky mats, but it looks like the front mats don't cover all the carpet on the door side. That is to say the mats don't look like they cover the left edge of the carpet on the driver's side, nor the right edge of the carpet on the passenger side. Anybody have some first-hand experience with Husky mats, or any other brand for that matter?

Thanks!

Pricey but worth it
Get the Weathertech floorliners...you won't be dissapointed
+3
+4 for weathertechs.
Duplicate post removed.
I've had Husky mats for many years and they are still going strong. I wash them after winter and they look as good as new. I don't know what the current mats are like, but the mats I have drop down near the door and have a sunken area to catch any water or snow that runs that way. If there is a lot of snow/water, just pull the mats and dump it out. There's no mess on the carpet.
Thanks all!
That subject is debated quite a bit on the tacoma forum I visit. Weathertech and Husky are the two to choose from. I guess you'd have to have both to decide which is better, but both come highly recommended.
Had Husky liners in a '95, '01, and '05 pickup. Had WeatherTech in an '06 and my current '11. I see little difference between the 2 and only switched because that's what Radco had in stock the day I went to get floormats in the 2 newer trucks.
WeatherTech by a mile! Custom fit, good coverage ( up a but on the center tunnel), last well, easy to clean. I won't put anything else in my vehicles.
I've got Weathertech in the back and Husky in the front. I couldn't ask for better from either one. The Husky's fit better is why I went with them up front.
WeatherTech in my last 2 trucks. Very happy with the performance.
I wish WeatherTech made floor mats for my 96 F250, wife has them in her RX330 and those things are great at keeping the dirt, snow, ice and water off her carpet.
I've had Husky Liners in my pickup since '97. They were the only option I knew about before buying a computer. No complaints though.
I love my Weathertech mats.

This
Weathertech in my rigs and love them.
weather techs by far IMO
I've got Weathertechs in my Suburban and Huskys in the Toyota pickup - I very much prefer the Huskys, they stay put and fit the contours much better. I'll never buy Weathertech mats again.
I have nothing against Weathertechs, but have had such good luck with the Husky Liners that I continue to buy them. Just put a set in the new F-150:

I have a 2010 Sierra, just cleaned the interior Weds. Had quite a bit of salt on the outside of the carpet on both the driver and passenger side, obviously from the melted saltwater sloshing out of the factory rubberish mats.

From those with experience, which mat will hold the water off the carpet the best?
WeatherTech, my wife has them in her RX330 and she hasn't had to clean her carpet since I installed them. If they made them for my truck I'd have a set in mine too.
I have Husky Liners in all of my vehicles. One of the first things that I do when buying a new, to me, vehicle is to order a complete set of Husky Liners; front, back, and cargo area (if applicable).
