Any one ever do a V8 conversion on one ?

I've always wanted the M715. There is a M37 for sale on AR15.com.

The army only had the M715's for a couple years before they dropped it. Apparently they had too many engine problems.

The M37 developed engine problems, too, mainly because the engine wasn't designed for the higher speeds on the highways. It was designed to be a crawler, not a runner.

Worked with one of those in the Army as an ambulance....yeah at 55 mph, the engine was singing...saw one that was sold to one of the Guard Members when I was with the MN Guard at the St Paul Airport...he put a 440 in it after he bought it... but also changed the axle gear ratio....

he got the idea from one old Power Wagon was on the show circuit in the Upper Midwest at the time, with a 426 Hemi in it...the guy couldn't afford the Hemi, but 440s out of Winnebagos were common and fairly cheap....
