Yellowstone
Wonder if those guys know rutting elk have been known to decorate their antlers with human entrails. Never mind that one must be cute and fuzzy.

Gives real elk a bad name.

Had a Yellowstone worker tell me that they had more people injured by rutting elk than bison or moose combined.

I know one came splashing across the river just west of Norris meadows and ran us up a tree several years ago.

One time I was camped at Norris and a yearling was running wildly around...and people were letting their kids run after it!
I thought about saying something but you really can't fix stupid.

Humanized elk, not good come the rut for humans, humans property or elk.

It's too bad neither of them was ready to take the shot. Maybe in Yellowstone, self-defense is the way you get a good bull.

LITTLE bull? The shoulders are nearly as high as the man's. When the elk is fully up on the pavement, he's going to look a lot taller. I wouldn't call him little at all.

Those two guys are idiots....one good hook and that bull would have them both skewered.
