I got hit for Late September or early October rifle Peaks hunt for any elk! I had all of 5 bonus points too. I called AZGF to make sure they weren't playing a prank on me!

Now what rifle should I bring? The Kimber Montana in 7WSM or 6.5x47 Lapua? I'm thinking WSM.

Oh I forgot I have Montana in 338 Fed too. Hmmmmm.

1 hit on my card, probably a cow hunt for my wife, I put in for early rifle bull so not much chance that's it.

Good luck to everybody. I remember the anticipation every year when I lived down there. Was lucky enough to draw 7W archery just before I moved to Idaho.

I hope everyone got their first choice. Not possible I know, but I can hope.

I had to take a pass down there this year and just take bonus points on that draw and antelope. Health issues I hope to have straightened out in time for the deer/sheep/etc draw for the fall hunts. I'd hate to draw a sheep tag and not be able to use it.

Either my wife or I got hit. We shouldn't have so we might have a really good tag.

Lifelong friend and I were charged, so it will either be November rifle bull in unit 9, or the October rifle cow hunt in the same unit.

My buddy got drawn as a non-res, first year applying, in unit 1 or 27. Unbelievable!

I'm anxiously awaiting. I keep checking my AZGFD account and my credit card....

My fingers are crossed.

My son got drawn..
4 yrs in a row for him and he's only 13.
2 for deer and 2 for elk.

Another buddy of mine just made a post on facebook saying that he was drawn for Antelope. He had 1 point each for elk and antelope and drew both.

I got a bonus point I guess.

Unit 9 late cow for me. Was hoping for a bull tag but at least I'm going hunting this year rather than being camp cook and sherpa.

Nothing for us. We even tried playing the odds and picked a couple units we thought we had a good chance at. Stupid odds are a lie lol
