From November 4, 2008 to January 20, 2009, fans of the Ruger Mini-14 Target Rifles and Mini-14 Ranch Rifles, both chambered for .223 Remington, can purchase Ruger manufactured 20-round magazines (regularly priced at $39.95) for only $29.95. This special offer is only available through the Ruger On-line Store at http://www.ruger.com. Please note that these magazines are not available where state or local regulations limit magazine capacity to less than 20 rounds.

The Ruger Mini-14 series of rifles has been extremely popular since first introduced in 1974. Long considered simple, rugged, and reliable, these rifles have proven so popular around the woods, farm, and ranch that they earned the nickname "Ranch Rifle.� All Mini-14 rifles come from the factory with integral scope mounts.

For 2008 only, Ruger is offering a special edition NRA Mini-14 rifle. I saw that on Perfect Union, and ordered 4. The last ones I bought were $49.95.

They're trying to unload them before they become illegal.

Ruger kinda got us started down this road to begin with. Maybe I should call them and ask what honest person would want with a 10+ round magazine right? I mean it's not like Bill Ruger sent a letter congress before the assault weapon ban saying the same thing.

They are going to succeed with me...

I already have 4. That's plenty for a Mini-14. It's not the gun I plan to cling to in hard times, just a great little walking around rifle.

BTW, Bill Ruger didn't start the AWB.

I had 12 pre ban factory 20 round magazines that are still in the little blister packs, along with 6 other factory 20 round magazines I bought here and there. I have 5 factory 30 round magazines as well as 6 PMI 30 round magazines.
I just bought these 4 to thumb my nose at hussein before the ban goes in.

F Ruger, they have only ever covered their pocketbooks and have never stood by the gun owners.
